These versions represent the evolution of the Android operating system, with each release introducing new features, improvements, and optimizations. It’s important to note that device manufacturers and carriers may not always update their devices to the latest Android version immediately, leading to a diverse ecosystem of devices running different Android versions concurrently. Additionally, after Android 10, Google shifted to a numerical naming convention, moving away from using dessert names for Android versions.
